Run Groups
Join our members in one of three run groups: Novice (no passing), Intermediate and Advanced (point-by passing only). If you aren't sure which run group you belong in, see the flowchart on our HPDE page. If you have fewer than three HPDE track days, we suggest you start with the Rookie Friday program.
Rookie Fridays
$100 for Rookies!
If you've never driven a car on a close-course race track, or if you are an HPDE novice and this is your first time at Pineview Run, then the Rookie Friday program is just for you. If you have previous track experience, Rookie Friday is also a great way to learn the track in a low-key environment.
This is a half-day program, from 10am-1pm, or 2pm-5pm. Space is limited to five drivers.
Agenda
- Learn our track safety procedures.
- Learn the meaning of flags, and location of flag stations.
- Drive at least three sessions on track, including lead-follow, follow-lead, and solo track time.
First Timers
Mandatory Paperwork
- If you've never been to Pineview Run before, read the Track Safety rules and take the online test.
- Everyone must sign an event waiver.
- We are strict with our Covid policy, make sure you read and sign it.
- Please see our Tech Inspection web page. Print the Tech Inspection form, fill it out, and bring it with you.
