Let's Race!

The Pineview Challenge Cup is a time trials series on Saturday mornings and Thursday evenings. The unique ruleset allows you to run what you brung, and find fair competition in one of four classes.

Procedure

1. Purchase a Pineview Cup Event

  1.  Go to the Shop and choose a single event or the entire series. 
  2. If you don't have an AMB transponder, or don't know what that is, add one to your cart. 
  3. Checkout and complete your purchase. 

2. Make a Reservation

  1. Go to the Reservations page. 
  2. Click Classes / Events
  3. Find the event you want to enter and click Book
  4. Fill out the information and click Confirm Booking

3. Read the Rulebook

Read the rules below, or download them. 

4. Fill Out a Class Worksheet

  1. Go to the PVC Class Calculator
  2. In Google Sheets, click File > Make a copy
  3. Fill out the information in the sheet. Refer to the Rulebook if you get stuck.
  4. In Google Sheets, click File > Download > Pdf document
  5. Email the document to Mario (his email address is in the Rulebook).


If you have trouble with the Class Worksheet, email Mario with the details of your car and tires, and he'll get you in the right group. 

5. Fill Out a Tech Sheet

  1. Everyone who brings a car to Pineview Run needs to be familiar with our safety rules.
  2. Print the tech sheet, sign it, and bring it with you. 

Rulebook

The easiest way to find your class is using the Class Calculator. Bring a copy of this worksheet to your first race, and submit a new one any time you change the performance of your car or tires.
